Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a structured, practical form of therapy that helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. By identifying unhelpful patterns that may be keeping you stuck, we work together to develop more balanced and constructive ways of thinking and acting. CBT is an evidence-based approach shown to be highly effective for a wide range of difficulties, including depression, generalised anxiety, OCD, and panic disorder. The goal is to equip you with tools and strategies you can use in everyday life, supporting real and lasting change.
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps you process and resolve emotional distress linked to traumatic or overwhelming life experiences. It involves recalling distressing memories while engaging in bilateral stimulation usually side-to-side eye movements which supports the brain’s natural ability to reprocess information in a more adaptive way. Originally developed for PTSD, EMDR is now widely used to treat a range of issues including anxiety, phobias, depression, low self-esteem, and grief. Recognised by both the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) as an effective treatment for PTSD.
Adapted CBT for ADHD (with Psychoeducation)
ADHD can impact many areas of life from focus and organisation to emotional regulation and self-esteem. Adapted CBT for ADHD combines practical strategies with psychoeducation to help you better understand how ADHD affects you. Together, we will work on building executive function skills, improving emotional resilience, and developing systems that fit you (not the other way around!). I take a strengths-based approach, helping you manage challenges while celebrating your neurodiversity.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT is learning to live fully and meaningfully, even in the presence of difficult thoughts and feelings. Instead of trying to fight or eliminate painful emotions, ACT helps you to accept them and to take committed action towards what matters most to you. Using mindfulness, values work, and psychological flexibility techniques, ACT can help you break free from struggle and start living a life aligned with your true self.
Each therapy session will cost £80 and will last 50 minutes.
